Klaus Lehnhäuser, principal of the Technical College for Ceramics and longstanding member of the BFZK e.V., took his well-deserved retirement last Thursday. During a festive event on the Scheidberg, the BFZK was also able to thank its former founding member. Without Klaus Lehnhäuser, the association would never have existed in this form. It takes people like Klaus Lehnhäuser to bring everyone together and strengthen ceramics. He has made a significant contribution to bringing the 8 ceramic institutions in Höhr-Grenzhausen and the BFZK together. With new ideas, wit and charm, many joint activities have been implemented with Klaus Lehnhäuser in recent years and we hope that we will continue to work together. Because the BFZK has kept a small back door open: Margret Müller, Dr. Nele van Wieringen and Dr. Nadja Kratz ceremoniously presented the honorary membership certificate.
