Dr Marcus Emmel studied materials engineering in glass and ceramics at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences and Freiberg University of Mining and Technology. Accompanied by industrial experience at Bosch, among others, his path led him to the FGK in 2016, where he set up the Competence Centre for Additive Manufacturing and is now responsible for technology and innovation management in addition to heading the structural ceramics working group.
