Ir. Marcel Engels studied Chemical Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. After holding various positions in the tile and sanitaryware industry, he joined the FGK in 2002. Since 2023, he has been head of the Silicate Ceramics working group, specialising in product testing and product and process development in the ceramics industry.
